We wrote a poem about a week on holiday. We read a poem called “A Week at Gran’s” and we tried to write one a bit like it. After we had written it, we typed it on the computer and then put it onto card. Each of us made a title strip on coloured card.

On Monday I played air hockey
With my Grandpa John.
On Tuesday I swam in the sea
With my swimming costume on.
On Wednesday it was Isobel’s party
I won pass the parcel.
On Thursday it was my birthday
I got a Lego lorry.
On Friday I went to the Safari park
I saw some Meercats.
On Saturday I walked to Camas Mor
I found some floppy hats.
On Sunday we went to Spain
We had a villa where we could sleep.
After that we went to Horse Island
To round up some sheep.
