We wrote a poem about a week on holiday.  We read a poem called “A Week at Gran’s” and we tried to write one a bit like it.  After we had written it, we typed it on the computer and then put it onto card.  Each of us made a title strip on coloured card.

Here it is!

On Monday I played air hockey

With my swimming costume on.

On Wednesday it was Isobel’s party

I won pass the parcel.

I got a Lego lorry.

On Friday I went to the Safari park

I saw some Meercats.

On Saturday I walked to Camas Mor

I found some floppy hats.

We had a villa where we could sleep.

After that we went to Horse Island

To round up some sheep.

At my party we went to the beach first and played tig,nests and rounders it was so fun everyone joined in. After we went back to the house and played some party games including pass the parcel,Edward won a metal detector. Then we had supper it was delicious. I got a lovely birthday cake. I had a sponge cake with fondant icing !!YUM!! Me,Amy and Katy did my paper fashion we made cool clothes. Jamie then played on my D.S he got very far on Super Mario Bros. He left then I went to bed.  By Isobel
